Chiropractor Bio:    Dr. Jimmie N. Ogden was born and raised in Northglenn, Colorado.  He attended Thornton High School and graduated in 1981.  Dr. Ogden worked at Thornton Animal Hospital for over seven years learning all aspects of Veterinary Medicine throughout Junior High, High School and College.  This experience has proved to be extremely valuable in acquiring an in-depth knowledge of traditional medical and surgical care.  Dr. Ogden attended Colorado State University and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1984; First Major in Biological Sciences, Second Major in Zoology- Forensic Science Concentration, and a Minor in Anatomical Sciences.

After Undergraduate School his interest in Forensic Sciences lead him to a career as a Police Officer for the City of Northglenn.  Dr. Ogden had an excellent career working in all phases of police work including the Patrol Division and the Detective Division, Special Operations Group where he worked undercover.    Dr. Ogden was exposed to the benefits of chiropractic care after his wife was aided in recovering from severe headaches after an automobile accident, and then later got personal exposure to chiropractic’s effectiveness when he seriously injured his back and was able to avoid surgery.  Then as he gained knowledge of how chiropractic was not only for pain, but was really effective in ensuring the body was operating at its peak performance and maintaining good health, he took his young daughter who had been in and out of Children's Hospital repeatedly for respiratory problems her first two years of life in to be checked by a chiropractor.  After his young daughter received her first chiropractic adjustment she no longer had any respiratory problems. When he saw how chiropractic could not only help people with severe headache and back pain, but could also help children and adults maintain better overall health without drugs or surgery he decided to go back to school and become a chiropractor too.

Dr. Ogden then went back to school and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.  He received his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February of 1995 graduating Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian of his Class.  Dr. Ogden also received Palmer College’s highest honor, The Clinical Excellence Award, for the practical application of Chiropractic Care with his patients in the College Clinics.  Dr. Ogden passed his National and State Board Exams and became licensed to practice in March of 1995.

Dr. Ogden returned to Colorado and founded Peak Performance Chiropractic in his hometown of Northglenn, Colorado.  He then continued his education completing extensive specialized post-graduate training in evaluation and treating the joints of the arms and legs, and is a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner.  There are less than a thousand doctors in the world with this specialized training.

He has served as the Head Physician for the Basketball Congress International Tournament, and has served as the team doctor for several of the local High Schools.  Dr. Ogden works regularly with amateur and professional athletes of all kinds to help them maintain their “Peak Performance,” as well as running his family practice.  He also has specialized knowledge working with all levels of amateur and professional dancers as well.  Dr. Ogden has experience adjusting patiens from only a few hours after their birth to over 98 years of age.  Dr. Ogden not only possesses the knowledge and experience necessary, but he is also a well respected longstanding member of the community, known for his honesty and integrity.  Dr. Ogden is dedicated to his community and the patients he serves.
