Dr. Jimmie N. Ogden received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C.) in 1995, graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude, was recognized for his outstanding clinical work with Palmer's highest honor - The Clinical Excellence Award, and was also a Valedictorian of his Doctoral Class as well.   He was Licensed to Practice Chiropractic in March of 1995 and began working in association with experienced chiropractors, and continuing his education.

Dr. Ogden became a Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (C.C.E.P.)  by the Council on Extremity Adjusting in April of 1996.  He works with numerous athletes and their sports injuries, as well as a general family chiropractic practice.  Doctor Ogden opened his own human chiropractic office in Northglenn, Colorado in 1997, Peak Performance Chiropractic.  He has been practicing in the same location for the over 17 years.  During his chiropractic practice he continued his education, and having a love for animals, owning several dogs, cats and horses, he began working with all quadrupeds early on in his practice.

In early 2008, he devoted himself to learning from established recognized courses of study in the practice of animal adjusting to quadrupeds, specializing in equine and canine.  He has studied under chiropractors as well as veterinarians.  Doctor Ogden has almost 40 years of experience in animal healthcare, and Dr. Ogden is a Certified Animal Adjuster by the International Association of Veterinary Chiropractitioners (IAVC). The IAVCP is the largest animal adjusting organization in the world. He is trained in both manual as well as instrument adjusting, and also incorporates the use of the Cold Laser into his practice. Doctor Ogden was one of the first chiropractors to become licensed to practice Animal Chiropractic by the State of Colorado. Doctor Ogden is a member of the American Animal Adjusting Association, and is experienced in both the veterinary and chiropractic aspects of animal care. He knows when to treat and when to refer out to the appropriate provider, and works with numerous progressive veterinarians. Doctor Ogden not only works closely with veterinarians, but with fairers as well to ensure your animal is cared for properly.

The application of animal adjusting by those as extensively trained as Dr. Ogden is not only extremely safe, but remarkably effective as well.  It improves the overall health and functioning of the animal by restoring normal biomechanics and restoring normal neurologic communication; and as a result healing is facilitated, pain is relieved, and function and performance is restored.

For your pets health you should work closely with Dr. Ogden and your veterinarian together to ensure your pet the best health possible.  You need your animals properly adjusted and under good veterinary care as they work well together, and are not mutually exclusive.  They both look at your pets health through different ways to ensure the best for your pet, and should always be used in conjunction.  In fact, Dr. Ogden requires you obtain a signature from your veterinarian so they know they are both working together for your pets health and safety.  It is easy, you just inform your veterinarian you want to have your animals adjusted by Dr. Ogden and he requires that they sign a prescription form or any piece of paper with their office information on it acknowledging they are aware your animals (list all their names) are being treated concurrently by Dr. Ogden (A certified, licensed Animal Chiropractor).  Seeing is believing- have Dr. Ogden work with your horse and dog, and you will see the difference immediately.

If you love your pet and yourself be sure to have Doctor Ogden adjust the both of you so you can both function at Peak Performance.
